May 12, 2022 -The Viss Family Funeral Home has experienced an unfortunate and tragic loss with the recent passing of the owner of the funeral home, Ronnie Viss. He diligently served the Copperas Cove community for twelve years and was the proud and sole owner of the funeral home since 2020. He was a beloved friend to many, making connections with all those he met through his life of devoted service. Ronnie was called to the ministry of funeral service and his gift of mercy was demonstrated by his compassion and devotion to the families he served.

Considering Ronnie’s passing and the active role that he played in his business, the Viss family has entrusted his former business partner, Daren Moore, to be the funeral director in charge of the funeral home. Daren has been serving the Copperas Cove and Gatesville communities for the last 30 plus years. He and Ronnie were business partners at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove prior to 2020.

They will continue to serve the needs of the community with the same compassion, respect and attention to detail that Mr. Viss was committed to providing.
