A memorial service allows the grieving family to be in a supportive environment, where they can openly grieve, say goodbye, find closure, and remember the life of their loved one. Its purpose is to help us create a final tribute to honor the life of the person we love so much. Burial Services

Depending on your preferences, there are various options you can choose when arranging a burial:

• Immediate burial is the simplest form of burial. There is no viewing or funeral service. Your loved one’s physical remains will be buried without any type of formal ceremony.
• Visitation allows family and friends to gather with their departed loved one to offer their sympathies and support to those left behind. It is typically held at the funeral home.
• Funeral or Memorial Services can be held at a funeral home, a church, or at the bereaved family’s home. Its purpose is to help families create a final tribute to honor the life of the deceased. Families can choose to enhance traditional rituals with personalization to create a memorable and meaningful service.
• Graveside, Chapel, or Committal Services take place at the cemetery, and they tend to be the most intimate--and, oftentimes, the most emotional--ceremony. Family and friends attend the service as their loved one is placed in their final resting place through ground burial.

Cremation Services 

Cremation is an increasingly popular choice for final disposition. However, not all people know that a visitation or funeral service is still possible before the cremation. 

For those who chose cremation, there are many options for commemorating a loved one. Like a traditional service, a unique funeral or memorial service that honors and remembers your loved one is a wonderful opportunity for the bereaved to gather, grieve, and begin the process of healing. These services can be held before or after the cremation.

Additionally, there are a number of options for final disposition of your loved one’s remains after cremation:

• Interment of the ashes or your loved one’s cremated remains is the act of burying or entombing the remains. This can be in a memorial site, the family plot, an urn garden or cremation niche, or any other location. Please reach out to our staff for guidance and advice.
• Graveside Services are similar to a celebration of life during a traditional ground burial. Families gather to honor their loved one through meaningful tributes during the burial of the cremated remains.
• Scattering is the act of spreading your loved one’s remains in a cemetery, memorial garden, over water, or any other meaningful place. We encourage families who choose this option to let their loved one’s life inspire them. After the scattering, some families choose to keep some of the cremated remains in an urn.
• Placing cremated remains in multiple urns helps families who are separated by distance to have their loved one’s cremated remains close by.
