Victoria Fontes

Victoria Ann Fontes, age 78, of Copperas Cove, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 9, 2022. A Memorial Service will be planned at later date in Palo Alto, CA.

Victoria “Vicki” was born on June 24, 1943, in Honolulu, Hawaii to the late Manuel and Carnation Quirantes Fontes. Her family moved to Mountain View, California in 1954. Vicki graduated from Mountain View High School in 1961. She enjoyed playing sports in high school. After high school, she traveled through numerous states. Vicki lived the longest in Northern California working for Horizon Air as a customer service agent, a job she loved. She also would take advantage of her airline benefits and travel to Hawaii as often as she could. Vicki was an avid stamp and coin collector. She shared her coins with all of her family throughout the years. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and sitting out in the sun with her beloved dogs.

Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew, Peter Hauck; and many aunts and uncles.

Victoria is survived by her sisters, Jane Hauck, Diane Ison and husband, Keith, Alana Doyle, Debbie Jonas; aunts, Ollie Rodrigues, Melva Correa; and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved her family in her own special way.
