Steven Ray Wilson

Steven Ray Wilson, 37, of Kempner, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Viss Family Funeral Home, 1614 S. FM 116, Copperas Cove, TX 76522.

Steven was born on June 16, 1984, in Great Falls, MT to Larry Wilson and Karyn Wilson Sutton. He attended school in Great Falls, MT before moving to Texas in 2001. Steven earned his associate degree in construction which led him to be a roofer. He spent most of the next 20 years in the construction business. Steven loved gaming, extreme sporting, and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Steven was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Louise Lockhart.

Steven is survived by his children, Matthew Thompson of Copperas Cove, Isabelle Wilson, Stormie Wilson; mother, Karyn Sutton, and husband, Homer all of Kempner; father, Larry Wilson, and wife, Deana of Great Falls, MT; grandparents, Larry and Phyllis Wilson of Marietta, OH, brother, Scott Alan Wilson, and wife, Heather of Minot AFB, ND; his two nephews, James Wilson and Nathan Wilson of Minot AFB, ND; and his aunts and uncles, Todd Wilson, Julie and Tom Gady, Tami and Dana Dietz, Cherly and Neil Westfall, Rebecca Heckert, David and Rhea Bomer, Dale Smith and his wife.
