Remedios Cuenca

Remedios Cuenca, age 66, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021, in Killeen, TX. Services will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Destiny World Outreach Center located at 101 N W S Young Drive, Killeen, Texas 76541.

Remedios was born on July 25, 1954, in Angeles City, Philippines to the late Alejandro and Gloria Dela Cruz Pine. She graduated from Holy Angel University in 1972. Remedios worked at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines for 16 years. She met Domingo Cuenca Jr. who was a singer in a band, that performed on the base. They fell in love and were married on April 9, 1978. Together they had three children. In 2015, they moved to Texas to be closer to family and for medical reasons. Remedios worked at the Wal-Mart in Killeen for 3 years before her health deteriorated. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel and looked forward to playing Bingo.

Remedios is survived by her husband, Domingo Cuenca, Jr., three children, Catherine Yabut and husband, Jackson, Maricar Mullens and husband, William, Jeffrey Cuenca; six grandchildren, Camille, Chris, Justine, Kurt, Cayle, Samantha, and one on the way.
