Louis Bryan

March 15, 1962 — November 22, 2020

Louis Bryan, age 58, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, in Temple, TX. The family will attend a Memorial Graveside service that will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 4, 2020, at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Christ the Rock Church in Lampasas on Saturday, December 5, at 2:00 p.m. for family and friends.

Lou was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to Louis and Barbara Bryan on March 15, 1962.  He married Joanne Mc Grath on April 24, 1988, in Jersey City, NJ.  They had three children together: Jennifer, Jessica, and Jonathan. She passed away in 2007.  He then married Marcyne Hobbs on August 1, 2009.  He served in the Army, worked for the VA, as a crossing guard for CCISD, and had his own business making wood signs and cutting boards.

He was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm and served in the Army and was awarded: the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Marksman Badge Rifle, Army Lapel Button, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal.  He was involved in Royal Rangers for many years.

Lou is survived by his spouse, Marcyne Bryan. His children: Jennifer and Tim Pruitt, Jessica Bryan and Felica Finley, Jonathan and Jocelyn Bryan, and Davey Hobbs. His granddaughters Tatum and Rian Pruitt. His parents, Louis and Barbara Bryan, and his siblings: Steven and Maureen Bryan and Linda Bryan, and their children.

The family of Lou wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the medical staff at the Temple VA for all their care and service during this time, to Pastor Kevin and Audra Veasey for officiating the service, and to all of the family and friends that have come forth to show their love and support to his family during this time.
