Obituary

Kenneth Benoit, 58, of Copperas Cove, passed away on March 1, 2022, in Copperas Cove, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Viss Family Funeral Home, 1614 S FM 116, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522,  with Pastor Kirby Lack of Trinity Worship Center, officiating. The family requests that all family and friends wear Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, or their color attire in memory of Kenneth.

Kenneth was born in Fort Hood, Texas to Delphis and Karin Benoit on May 12, 1963.  He went to school at Copperas Cove High School.  He was a self-employed sheet rocker for over 30 years and was also known for opening Bones Cracked Rib BBQ.

Kenneth enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and called everyone his baby. He loved cooking, telling "true" stories about Bear Claw, and believed Bob Vila could fix anything. He had a love for classic country, football, and NASCAR. What he enjoyed most was being a Papa to his grandchildren.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his brothers Raymond Benoit and Timothy McCutchen and daughter, Taylor Benoit.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Robert and Desiray, Michael and Sarah Rousell, Elyssa and Stacey Wyatt, Tiffanie and Brooklyn “Goose” Benoit, and Mila and Corey Smithers; his brothers Norman, Delphis, and Edmond; his sisters, Karin, Patricia, Mona, Veronica and Michele; his parents Delphis and Karin; his grandchildren, Logan, Jayden, Milo, and Jordyn; and many nieces and nephews.

The family of Kenneth wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Heart of Texas Hospice and his nurses, Jennifer and Lisa.
