Ebony Leonard

Ebony Ashanti Leonard, age 38, born on January 27, 1984, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the union of Johnny Leonard Jr. and Ruby Nell Leonard. Departing her life early, Ebony joined her mother Ruby to take her heavenly rest.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Viss Family Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Ebony received her high school education at Eielson High School at Eielson AFB, Alaska. She was recognized for extraordinary academics, extracurricular activities, and community service by Who’s Who among American High School students. Ebony graduated at the top of her class and was Senior class president. She was her class runner-up for homecoming and prom queen and was a member of the varsity basketball team. Ebony successfully won Miss Fairbanks Alaska pageant and represented Alaska for the Miss Teen All American pageant.

Ebony leaves her print in the hearts of her cherished survivors; fiancé, Rueben Pfeifer, father and stepmother, Johnny, and Rosie Leonard; daughter, Alani; son, Nivek; sister, Madison Leonard; brothers, Johnny Leonard III, Xavier, Jeremiah, and Gabriel. Her precious memory will also linger in the hearts of other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
