Brian Radar, age 48, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020, surrounded by his family at home in Copperas Cove, Texas. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Viss Family Funeral Home Burial and Cremation Service, 1614 S. FM 116, Copperas Cove, TX 76522 with burial following at Pidcoke Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. The family has requested that face coverings be worn at all times throughout the visitation and funeral service. The service will also be streamed, live, on our Facebook page.
Brian Rader was born in Fort Lewis, Washington to William and Judy Rader on August 23, 1972. He went to school in Gatesville, Texas. He married Roscinda Rader on September 17, 2010, in Copperas Cove, Texas. He earned a degree as an auto mechanic from Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas. He worked as a correctional officer for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 27 years and ran his own construction business for several years.
Brian is preceded in death by Alford and Ruby Evetts, Josephine Rochester, Henry Rader, William Charles Rader, and Abbey Rader.
Brian is survived by his parents, William and Judy Rader; wife, Roscinda Rader; children, Randall Gerber and wife, Randi Jo, Thomas Wilson and wife, Rachel; his sisters, Kimberly Rader and Lisa Spenneberg; grandchildren, Cheyenne Gerber, Paislee, Emma Wilson; niece, Amber Lara and family, nephew, Colton Enos; his six great-nieces and nephews; and his uncle, James Evetts and wife, Donita.
